Getting to Know You, Getting to Know All About You

Over the last two days I spent narly 10 hours with an amazing person. We were putting together the dvd of the Parent's Dinner for the 6th grade girls. While we were waiting for things to burn an incredible thing happened. We began to really get to know each other. Our hearts were taken out and plastered on our sleeves. I'm pretty sure we both teared up at least once or twice. We definitely laughed and we found that we were even more alike than we first imagined. No wonder we relate to one another so well. We were raised by such similar people. In fact, I feel closer to him than any of my 3 brothers. I guess I would say he is my brother. He is now a lot of who I am becoming. I desperately want to learn how to share the love I've so abundantly received. He's really good at this. Maybe he'll teach me. We both love kids and love working with them. I believe God placed us in each other's proximity for some reason. And I know I grew. I hope he did, too. And now, I can't imagine this guy not being in my life.
