It's time for a new post. I'm sure you're all sick of clicking over here and seeing the juggling men. Although, I must say, they've been very entertaining.
Bobbie over at emerging sideways has challenged her readers to blog about who inspired us to begin this blogging journey. I guess I'll try to do that some justice. It won't be easy.
I'm not sure how I found out about the blogging world. I think it may have started with our preacher's blog. From there I branched out and found a whole wide world of amazingly interesting people. I stumbled across these women, Anj, bobbie (linked above), Steph, Deb, and Claudia. God has used each of them to speak wisdom into my life. He has used them to draw me out, to give me the courage to write down my thoughts and beliefs, things hidden in my heart. Long before I ever started writing I lurked, read, learned and eventually commented on their blogs. They have been a large part of my opening up.
I've been preaching the wonders of the blog world for some time now and most of my friends have thought I was crazy. Some are beginning to come around. Now my world is so much larger. I know people all over the place. I may never meet these people I've grown to love in this lifetime, but the party in Heaven will certainly be that much sweeter for their presence there. Like bobbie says, "there will have to be a blogger section at the marriage supper of the lamb!" I agree!

Last night, I held Sam's hand and I prayed. In my prayer I thanked God for all those who had prayed for us all over the world. After the prayer, I told Sam all about our blogging circle. I told Sam that people were praying all over the US and in the UK and in Australia and in Canada and yes, in Hawaii. I even blurted out on Mike's blog that Sam was going to have a Bone Scan and some commenting on his post stopped and posted a prayer then some came to my blog to tell me they were praying. Wow! and when Blondie told me she went to an Easter service and put mine and Sam's name on a prayer card in the plate..well I just cried. You are right, Candy, this is an amazing phenomenon, this blog world. I told Mike if he ever needed a blogging testimony I was the girl to call..
ooooo...this is long..sorry.

I told somebody this week that there'll be a blog-o-sphere party in heaven. Or at least I've put in a request with Peter the Maitre D.

deb - PARTY!
bobbie - no problem. see you at the party if not before!
Blogging has opened many windows of opportunity for us to meet spiritually across the plains of ethernet cables. I certainly hope God has plans for our souls to meet face to face one day. That would really be awesome.
