God Hug

I was laying out by the pool this afternoon taking in my daily doseage of Vitamin D. As I was laying there with my eyes closed I had this conversation with God. I said, "God, lately I've been talking about you a lot but not talking to you. And when I have talked to you I haven't been doing much listening. I'm really sorry." Then, I listened. As I laid there I felt a shadow come over my face. I opened my eyes and looked up into the sky. I saw this:

I'm not sure you can see it, but as soon as I opened my eyes I saw God with his arms wide open calling me to his side (use your imagination). Do you see him? Once I had taken it in I, of course, ran to get my camera. The clouds had somewhat shifted by the time I got back and the image had drifted. But I swear to you when I opened my eyes there he was, and at the core of him was a cross. The interesting thing to me was that although I had felt a shadow come over me, when I opened my eyes the sun was shining so brightly (you can see off to the left side) that I had to cover my eyes.

Oh, and about an hour earlier my 4 year-old friend, TJ, had been over swimming with his family and out of the blue he said, "Look! There's God!" I asked him, "Where?" and he said, "Up there in the sky!!" The other thing he kept repeating all afternoon was this "Comin' to the rescue!"

There you have it. It's that simple.

Pure serendipity.

Thank you for what you said at my site, I am amazed that my ramblings could be meaningful to someone else, but it really helps me somehow to know that.

Thank you~
