Today we're leaving to go visit my blood family in Colorado Springs. It's a long, long story but suffice it to say I'm always apprehensive the day I leave. It's usually not as bad as I expect it to be, occasionally it's worse. Mostly it's just bound up in guilt and crap. Without fail - every time I go I get to practice a little more forgiveness. And sometimes we're surprised by FUN! Those times are fewer and farther between with my dad at 90 and my mom at 85. They don't get around like they used to. But I am guaranteed there will be moments of joy.
Anyway, that's where I'll be. I'm taking the camera and the computer. Maybe God will "bring it". What am I saying? Of course God will bring it and I'll try to show you what He brings!

Welcome back jackvee - it's been awhile, though I know you're lurking out there. Thanks for the words of wisdom. I can always count on you for that. It means a lot to me.
Darius - You certainly have gotten me thinking. I keep coming back to that saying "If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it."
thanks, Happy.
Beverly - I got it. Although sometimes I feel guilty using it. That guilt training runs deep.
