Prayers Needed
Ok all you praying people out there - I need your help. I'm working a Girl's Chrysalis (retreat for girls ages 15-24) this weekend from Thursday evening through Sunday evening. I'll be in the Prayer Room and one of my responsibilities is to get people signed up on our 3 day/24 hour Prayer Vigil. I'm doing pretty well with it but we are lacking in some areas. Midnight through 5 a.m. is wide open on Friday/Saturday/Sunday. Some of you live in different time zones (Scott/gracie) and could possibly pray for these 26 lovely young ladies to have an experience with God that they will not soon forget - that they will have a new revelation of His love for them - that they would know Him. Some of you have insomnia - that would be a perfect opportunity for you to take on a 30 minute time slot. Some of you have a heart for young people and just want to jump right in here. All it takes is the committment to pray for 30 minutes. You can do it while you're driving, riding your bike, laying in bed, wrestling with the sheets, etc. Take some time to lift these girls up to their Daddy. It will mean alot to them and to me. I'll add your name to the vigil that they will see later in the weekend. If you're from afar, I'll put your location too and they will be overwhelmed to know that someone far off is praying for them. Here's the catch...I need to know by today or early tomorrow morning. I leave at noon my time (approx. 24 hours) to go out to the camp. Thank you so much!! I'm not sure if I can take a slot as I'll be on vacation with the fam, but I will pray when I think of it...all weekend! Love you Candy!

Candy, I'd love to take the midnight - 1 hour each night. I would be so honored. thank you for letting us know. surely God will reveal Himself in a fresh way to these girls with so many people united in prayer for them.

yeah, I know huh? pregnant and all. But, most weekend nights, I have quite a bit of energy and will stay up reading. the week, it's another story - I am worn out. can't wait to hear the update on Monday!

Hey, I'll do that praying thing too.
Sigh. A mind is a terrible thing to lose. I sat down to do my prayer time for the girls and realized that Texas is an hour earlier than Michigan, not an hour later. So, my brilliant idea of praying at 11 for a 12PM slot was a bit off, to say the least. I went ahead and prayed for the girls, trusting God to take care of the time/space continuum problems. I feel a bit silly though. Thank goodness for grace!
