Request for Prayer

My friend, Lynette, and I are preparing this week for a ladies retreat we're directing in Virginia next weekend. I'm soliciting your prayers for the 42 ladies attending. My heart's desire is that they will continually hear the love of the Father spoken over them. The retreat is entitled "Becoming". As a seed dies to become a beautiful flower we, too, must die to self to become the image of the beauty of Christ. I believe that intimacy with the Father precedes fruitfulness. I believe that if we become in tune with the Father's heart we will in turn love others as He has called us to love. For me that takes being still and knowing Him, hearing His heart, seeing His beauty all around me, taking time to be His child which in turn somehow enables me to become the woman He wants me to be. I know one thing. I am a work in progress. I am nowhere near completion on this journey. So, I pray I can put into words for these ladies in Virginia what God has put on my heart.
