Do you ever wonder what your dog is barking at all day long?

It's true what they say...when the dog's away, the birds will play!

What can we learn from this?

I want to be like the bird in the pool. God is a god of abundance. He wants us to live abundantly. Personally, I don't want to settle for what the world says is enough for me (like, say, the birds in the birdbath). Instead, I want everything God has for me. Psalm 36:7-9 says this:
How priceless is your unfailing love!
Both high and low among men
find refuge in the shadow of your wings.
They feast on the abundance of your house;
you give them drink from your river of delights.
For with you is the fountain of life;
in your light we see light.
(I really love that part about drinking from your river of delights!)
Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance. Jude 1:2 (NIV)
