Thanksgiving

Today I'm giving thanks for many, many things and people and circumstances and blessings and struggles and victories and I could go on and on. But I really want to thank God for my family of choice. I don't know what I would do without these people who really know me and really love me. They are a gift.

And I thank God for Geoff and Max. I wonder who I would be without them in my life. I take that back. No, I don't wonder - I don't want to know. It would be bare and boring and flat. But thankfully it's not! I have men! (I thought I should use "men" because Geoff wouldn't appreciate being called a boy and Max will love that I called him a man.) They make me happy and crazy and full and tired. I wouldn't change a thing. By the way, that would be their Zoolander faces in the picture. Aren't they awesome?

"But he lifted the needy out of their affliction
and increased their families like flocks." Psalm 107:41

I see their mirror has probably gotten a good look or two (or 75) of their Zoolander faces :)

Why Clint, I believe you're right! You've seen this flick I see.

Blondie - Max's certainly has - I think he personally trained Geoff.

Lynette - You gotta see this movie! And yes, that's you. I'm glad you pointed that out. None of the rest of us would want anyone to think that was us in the pink flamingo hat!!

Thanks for sharing your family photo. We only had five for Thanksgiving- my husband and son and an older couple from church. I am used to a much larger Thanksgving, but we had a good dinner.
