2007

Happy New Year! What an interesting tradition. That's what I was thinking as I typed it. Yes, I hope it is and then I thought in some ways it couldn't be worse. But anyway. It's nearly 2:00 a.m. and I wanted to share my word before I went to bed.

About 3 weeks ago I woke up and laying there in bed I spoke to God and said, "God, it's time to ask you for my word for 2007. So I'm asking." And immediately the word "Heaven" came to me and immediately I was covered in goosebumps, head to toe. It was amazing. That's how I knew. And now I can't wait to see how "heaven" unfolds this year.

Remember you don't come up with your own word, you ask God for it. It's His word for you for this year. I don't know why this works. It just does. And don't panic over it. Just let it happen. Sometimes it takes some time. You don't have to have it by January 1 at 12:01 a.m. It comes when it comes and you know it when you know it. Trust me on that. Trust Him on that.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Candy!!

wonderful word!!! for me its as though it was a reminder where our rewards are waiting for us !! It begins here on earth...doing what good we can to get the rewards HE wants us to have!!!

Thank you God for giving Candy the word of the year!!!

I think my word might be humble, I'm not sure. That's terrifying if it is, though.

Oh, and you need to purchase and read this book: Heaven by Randy Alcorn

I haven't received my word yet - I thought it might be "cook" -but that couldn't possibly be.

Kat - Any word yet??

Blondie - oh man, humble. I had that one once. get ready girl. Thanks for the book recommendation!

tica - thank you.

dina - did you ask for your very own personal word?? do it girl!

vonnie-girl, don't underestimate God my friend. If the word "cook" speaks to your heart, then maybe it is your word. I had a friend who had the word "child" one year and we all said, "what?" It was amazing how God used that word in her life that year. amazing.

it's good to hear you laugh, bev!

I'm gonna try it and tell you later what He says.

Hmmm...heaven is a cool word. I look forward to reading how this inspiration unfolds in your life. What a wonderful God we have!
