Quick Update for Anyone Still Reading This Thing

In my last post I said I was frustrated with Blogger. I need to rephrase that. I found out it's my computer. I'm on upstairs and it works just fine so I'll stop trashing Blogger now. Technology...can't live with it - can't live without it.

Anyway, it's been awhile and so much has happened around here I can't even imagine trying to relate it all, nor do I need to do so. Suffice it to say Spring is here and I am excited! All the pics are on the laptop so you'll just have to trust me for now that my nose is in the sky or flowers these days. I'm pretty sure people around town are talking about the crazy woman in a red car with her camera stuck out of the sunroof snapping photos. It's all true. Sometimes I just can't stop myself. I do try to contain myself until I let Max off at school though so he's not too embarrassed by me. Another great thing about Spring is baseball. Max made the Abilene High Freshman team and it's so great to watch them play. I do love baseball.

Spring Break was great fun with our friends from Virginia coming in for a few days. We fired up the hot tub and Don even went swimming. It's 60 some odd degrees in there! Yep, he's from up north. We ate, drank, were merry and played dominos. It was so great and relaxing to spend time with them. Some people are just easy to be around 24/7. I miss them already.

Funny how life has a little different slant to it these days. Normal has shifted. The 21st was the 3 month anniversary of Tyler's death and it overshadows so many facets of life. His sister, Heather, spent several days with us this last week and sharing her grief was overwhelming yet sweet. If you would, please continue to remember this family in your prayers. Three months is such a short time and Tyler is so missed.

I've had such random thoughts going through my head these last weeks. Here are a few teasers.

glimmer of hope, pillars of strength, narrow path/narrow gate, blanket of peace, towering presence, rabbit heads, everlasting love, come out come out wherever you are...

It goes on and on. Maybe some of these will be posts. Maybe not.

Thanks for the catchup! I'm very curious about the rabbit heads!!!
I'm attending a grief & loss seminar on Thursday... very pertinent in my line of work, plus I'm interested in bereavement counselling... I'll be thinking of you and Tyler's family.
