Blessings

Yesterday my only child, Max, turned 13. It was a magical day, starting with waking up to snow. Then, last night we had a family party for him. The family we have chosen were there. We did the best thing. We each had a blessing for him - some of us read them, some spoke them, and some wrote them out and gave them to him. It was a treasured time to sit and listen to these precious people pour out their love and blessings over this young man. It was amazing to watch him receive them. This will be one birthday Max will always remember. And so will I.

I can't hardly believe that Max is 13!!! I remember him as a toddler when I was in huddles with Squeaky & Cindy. Tell him Happy Birthday for me!!!

What a wonderful gift this life is, to you and to others. Sounds like an incredible evening and I pray Max will let each blessing weave into his heart threads of hope, of courage and of relationship.

I love this - and I love this term the family we have chosen were there. What a precious, outstanding gift of truth, reality and blessing you give to Max. And to us through your sharing. Anj
