Never Alone

It's Sunday afternoon and I have the house to myself - for the next 48 hours. ahhhh.... This is something that very seldom, if ever, happens. I am married to an extrememly wonderful, generous, witty, intelligent, handsome guy and I love to be with him. He makes life fun. And my 13 11/12 year old (14 in December) is also wonderful, intelligent, very funny, extremely entertaining and handsome in his own right. So, I miss them. They're easy to be around, BUT, this is good. I am very much enjoying the peace and quiet. I'm about to take a nap. Then I'm going to have some quiet time and soak in the Presence of the Father, who is apparently very present because the peace factor here in this place is High. Tomorrow I have determined as Sabbath. I am giving myself permission to not lift a finger doing any laundry, cleaning, cooking, straightening, vacuuming, grocery shopping, etc. You name it - I'm taking a day off from it. I will have to feed and water the giant white dog. But she's worth it - she protects me. I'm asking God to meet me here and reveal Himself to me in a new way. I plan to do some writing - and who knows what else. I may even dance. That would be lovely.
