Today is a huge day for our family of choice. Today Zach and Kara Sheets are having twins! We hear they're boys. We'll soon see. I am so excited about their arrival! I got up this morning thinking Baby Day! I pray their arrival comes smoothly and that they are healthy and happy. There's no way they won't know they are loved. That will be abundantly clear. Kara has kept the coolest blog throughout this pregnancy. You can find it here. She has remained calm, energetic and outright beautiful through the whole experience. The coolest thing she's done is continue to post the names they are not going to use. It's become quite a mystery what these babies will be called. I can't wait to meet them, to know them and watch them grow. The only thing that makes this day somewhat melancholy is that Tyler is missing. How he would love to be here. And I can't help but think in many ways he is. His spirit surrounds us. His memory at times overwhelms us. Today will be one of those days we are overwhelmed. Please pray for the entire Sheets family today but especially Zach and Kara. They have no idea what's about to happen to their hearts.
Have I ever mentioned I'm a twin? Yep, I have a twin brother named, of all things, Randy. ugh. I know. We've had to live with that our whole lives. He's quite fascinating. I wish I knew him better today. It's funny how you grow apart. Kinda makes me sad. I'm missing him today.

HI candy!!
that is sooo awesome twins!!! I love the picture of you and your twin. I too have grown apart from one of my siblings and it sometimes feel "lost" and not the same without them!
I will pray for the Sheets!!
Candy & Randy! :)
very cool...they will be the best at loving children..
my daughter was home today, sick, and she put on some music. When the song "Heart of Life" came on I thought of Tyler and began praying for the Sheets family, thanks to your blogging of course, Candy...
wow! so the babies are born today... very exciting.
Your twin is very handsome!!! that's a TWO million dollar smile photo.
I didn't know you are a twin! How cool! I used to wish I were a triplet, like the girls on "Paren Trap Hawaiian Honeymoon." But now I'm very glad to have a sister that is 4 years older. And I'm extra lucky that she lives just around the block!
