That was an amazing day last week. One thing I love to do is wait around for babies to be born and then hovering around the nursery windows waiting to see new life. I'm not sure why I love this so much but I do and I'll show up any time of the day or night. It's that incredible to me.
Last Thursday was a cool day. Not only cool in temperature but cool in the fact that these two came to visit. I saw them out of the corner of my eye as they flew in and landed on the pool. I grabbed the camera and went out on the patio where they entertained me for about 45 minutes. There are a ton of photos. I only picked a few to share.

Max was home sick with a bad case of hives the day the ducks came to visit. I was so excited when I came in after the photoshoot and I was bursting with joy. I know, wierd, but I am my father's daughter. Max feigned a little excitement from the cloud of his benadryl induced semi-coma, for which I was highly grateful. Someday he'll be taking these pictures, too. I just know it. It's in his genes. I hope it gives him as much joy as it gives me. I mean how cool to be totally entertained for nearly an hour and it didn't cost a cent.
