We had a bizarre experience this weekend. We went to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for a baseball tournament and when we drove up to the hotel the team's coach had reserved for us we realized it was the same hotel that we had stayed at during Winterfest. None of us were wild wild about the idea of staying there again, but it was already 10:30 and we didn't have time to go find another room. So, I pointed out that we really had great memories of our time at the hotel and we proceeded to find our room along with the rooms we had each stayed in back in January. It was strange and surreal being back there. I mean, there must be thousands of hotel rooms in the metroplex. Anyway, it got even wierder than that. On Saturday night during Winterfest before we went to the last event of the night, my 7th grade girls were watching tv and I poked my head in to see what they were watching. It was a Disney movie about a kid who does magic. We never got to see the end. On Saturday night I laid down on the bed and started flipping channels and, to my amazement, there it was - the same movie, same scene that was on when we were there before. I must admit it kinda wierded me out. It wasn't like deja' vu, it was more - more what I'm not sure, just more. I can tell you we won't be back there anytime soon.
